As part of our initial setup and continuing supprot, we will install, configure and service your servers and network equpment co-located at a local datacenter.
Many businesses opt to host and colocate their primary servers at a datacenter for security, bandwidth and uptime purposes. A data center will provide a fast, reliable (typically T1) connection, auxiliary power in case of power failure, and physical security at the premise.
Wehther you need a 1/2 rack, full rack (or more), we will install and set up your servers, firewall, router, KVM switche and configure them for remote access and administration. We will also go to the data center whenever needed for routine maintenance or for emergencies. Since most of our clients and their data centers are typically in Orange County we can get to the premises within minutes in case of serious problems such as server crashes.
During our initial walk-through, we will visit you datacenter and ask a security badge be issued to our support engineer so that he can have 24x7 access.
All of these services (except emergency visits) are covered under our support plans at no additional charge. If your backup tape library is at your data center and you need us to rotate and pull the tapes on a regular basis, we can arrange that for a small fee.
